These days, with the car business and the economy making parallel slow rebounds, it’s more important than ever to take resale value into account when you purchase a new car. Personally, I felt the pains of the recession firsthand, and I’d like to stay prepared for the possibility of another economic turnaround of this kind. That’s why buying a car with a solid resale value is at the top of my list of priorities as a car buyer.

Whiplash claims are so high partially due to the equally high number of cars lacking effective prevention systems. One in six new cars on sale in Britain fail to offer adequate protection from debilitating whiplash injuries, new crash test results have revealed. 16% of models are rated ‘poor’ at preventing potentially permanent neck injuries in collisions at speeds as low as 10mph.
